CALL FOR PAPERS
ABSTRACT DEADLINE: 15 March, 2008
CONDITIONS FOR SUBMISSION:
Submission of unpublished original contributions for presentation must provide:
- New findings, important replications or extensions of existing knowledge;
- Novel and/or pertinent theoretical information on the scientific aspects of cannabis/cannabinoids; or,
- Important and/or pertinent information to cannabis/cannabinoid researchers.
- Presentation material may be “in press,” but not pubished, before the meeting date of June 26, 2008.
Abstracts will be reviewed for appropriateness of conference format and agenda, and for experimental soundness and/or scientific merit. On or about April 30, the final program will be posted on our website: http://CannabinoidSociety.org. Abstract books will be available at the Symposium.
All abstracts adherent to the criteria above and below will initially be accepted as posters. The Programme Committee will then go on to select some of these submissions for oral presentation: you may state your preference (oral or poster or no preference) during the upload process.
Any author of an abstract deemed NOT suitable for ICRS standards* will be notified within four weeks of the final abstract submission date, 15 March 2008.

*“The results of the study will be presented”, is, for example, unacceptable as are review papers on previously reported data. It is also a condition of abstract acceptance that the authors reveal the chemical structure(s) of any novel compounds in their abstract(s) or, instead of this preferred option, guarantee to the Programme Committee that they will show such structures in their oral or poster presentation(s).
